Dosage & Administration

The product is administered sublingually at 40 mcg/kg. The dosing syringe delivers the product in 0.25 ml increments. 

Apply impermeable gloves and remove the syringe from the outer carton. While holding the plunger, turn the ring-stop on the plunger until the ring is able to slide freely up and down the plunger. Position the ring in such a way that the side nearest the barrel is at the desired volume marking. Turn the ring to secure it in place.

Make sure that the horse’s mouth contains no feed. Remove the cap from the tip of the syringe and save the cap for replacement. Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth from the side of the mouth, placing the syringe tip beneath the tongue at the level of the corner of the mouth. Depress the plunger until the ring-stop contacts the barrel, depositing the product under the tongue.

Take the syringe out of the horse’s mouth, recap the syringe and return it to the outer carton for disposal. Syringes should be used only once - partially used syringes must be discarded. Remove and discard gloves or wash them in copious quantities of running water.

After administration of the product, the animal should be allowed to rest in a quiet place for approximately 30 - 40 minutes to allow sedation to fully develop before any procedure is initiated.

Please note there is a small excess of £7.50 for dispatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight and £12 to Guernsey and Jersey as governed by your postcode.

1. We are unable to ship to Northern Ireland. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Orders are typically dispatched the day after they are received. For example, orders placed on Monday, will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders received on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday subject to stock availability.
3. Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. 
4. We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.
5. Standard and Priority costs apply to the UK mainland only. Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight may incur an excess to cover additional carriage costs as governed by your postcode. Full details can be found by clicking the link below.
6. Standard Delivery (non-refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 6pm
7. Priority Delivery (refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 12pm.

Faulty Goods Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
