Phosphor Bovisal 500ml
About half of all cows suffering from milk fever-related recumbency exhibit subnormal levels of both phosphorus and calcium.
When given in conjunction with calcium infusion therapy, Phosphor-Bovisal® substantially reduces the duration of recumbency in hypocalcaemic and/or hypophosphataemic cows.Phosphor-Bovisal® is well tolerated by the mucosa and highly palatable.
Pour 1 bottle of Phosphor-Bovisal® directly into the mouth following administration of the calcium infusion.
If the cow is still recumbent after 8 to 10 hours (a rare occurence), a further bottle of Phosphor-Bovisal® should be administered (if necessary, after a 2nd calcium infusion). If the cow remains recumbent, seek veterinary advice.
