This is a self-eLearning foundation course in attending to the husbandry needs of camelids in the UK.
The course will provide resources that you can print and customise for your farm, instructional videos, and presentations to help guide you through husbandry, routine care and basic on-farm health planning.

Learning Outcomes

- How to perform basic health checks including foot trimming, body condition scoring and medication.
- How to deal with parasite control and using scoring charts to act on veterinary treatment advice.
- How to perform emergency care while waiting for a vet and restraint techniques.
- Know when to call a vet and have the appropriate equipment to ensure the visit runs smoothly and safely.
