IMPORTANT: Changes to our delivery service - May 2026

From 18th May 2026, we will be introducing improvements to our delivery service. As part of these changes, we will no longer be using DPD and will instead be delivering orders using our fulfilment company’s own fleet of vans.

What this means for you

Our new delivery system requires customers to provide a What3Words (W3W) safe place location in case you are unavailable to receive your delivery in person.

Delivery process

  • The driver will call the delivery contact number approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival.
  • Deliveries will either be:
    • Handed directly to the recipient, or
    • Left at a nominated What3Words safe place, provided it meets the criteria below.

Safe place requirements (GDP compliant)

To ensure safe and secure delivery, your nominated location must be:

  • Inside the main building (e.g. house, farmhouse kitchen), or
  • An enclosed outbuilding located at the same address
    • Such as a secure shed or garage
    • Must be fully enclosed and not accessible to the public or exposed to the elements

Please note: Open structures such as carports will not be accepted. All safe places will be assessed by the driver at the time of delivery.

If these conditions cannot be met, the delivery may not be completed.

Packaging

All orders will continue to be packaged using WoolCool packaging, as before.

How to provide your What3Words location

What is What3Words?

What3Words is a precise location system that divides the world into 3m x 3m squares, each identified by a unique combination of three words.

To use What3Words for your delivery:

  1. Visit https://what3words.com or download the app
  2. Stand at the exact delivery point (e.g. porch/shed)
  3. Note the three-word address assigned to that exact spot
  4. Enter this address in the What3Words field when placing your order
  5. Add any additional delivery instructions if needed

If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to contact us via email on office@farmacy.co.uk
