Bimodex is a fast acting and powerful iodophor based detergent sanitiser and disinfectant. It is effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Bimodex contains a powerful detergent allowing it to clean and disinfect in one operation.
Bimodex Iodophor Disinfectant has been approved for disinfection of inanimate surfaces where an approved product is required to be used under the control legislation for the following specific disease(s) orders:
- Foot-and-mouth disease at the dilution rate of one part of this preparation plus 550 parts of water
- Poultry diseases including avian influenza, influenza of avian origin in mammals, Newcastle disease, paramyxovirus at a dilution rate of one part of this preparation plus 100 parts of water
- Swine vesicular disease at the dilution rate of one part of this preparation plus 100 parts of water
- Tuberculosis disease at a dilution rate of one part of this preparation plus 20 parts of water
Administration
GENERAL CLEANING AND DISINFECTION – when using in livestock housing remove all portable equipment, litter and manure.
- Apply disinfectant after adjusting the dilution to suit soil level and/or disease specific history of the house – i.e. between one part Bimodex to between 100 and 550 parts water.
- Allow the area to dry if possible before replacing equipment and restocking.
Also use a solution of Bimodex to treat buckets, cages, hatchery trays, drinkers, crates and other non-porous surfaces.
WHEEL AND FOOTBATHS – use at a dilution of 1:90 and renew daily.
AERIAL DISINFECTION – apply at a suitable dilution rate through a mist generator.
DRINKING WATER SYSTEM – drain the system and flush with clean water before using a suitable dilution of Bimodex to disinfect the system.
Allow contact time of 30 minutes before rinsing with clean water to remove all traces of disinfectant.

Please note there is a small excess of £7.50 for dispatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight and £12 to Guernsey and Jersey as governed by your postcode.
- We are unable to ship to Northern Ireland. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.
- Orders are typically dispatched the day after they are received. For example, orders placed on Monday, will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders received on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday subject to stock availability.
- Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions.
- We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.

Faulty Goods Returns
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
