Product Description
Albex 10% is a broad spectrum multi-purpose anthelmintic containing Albendazole. for the control of mature and developing immature forms of gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and adult liver fluke in cattle and sheep. The product is also ovicidal against fluke and roundworm eggs.
In cattle it is active against the following species:
Roundworms: Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Bunostomum, Cooperia, and Strongyloides spp. It is usually effective against inhibited larvae of Cooperia and Ostertagia. Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus Tapeworms: Moniezia spp. Adult liver fluke: Fasciola hepatica.
In sheep it is active against benzimidazole-susceptible strains of the following species:
Roundworms: Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus (including N. battus), Chabertia and Oesophagostomum. It is usually effective against inhibited larvae of Ostertagia. Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria. Tapeworms: Moniezia spp. Adult liver fluke: Fasciola hepatica.
Albex 10% is ovicidal and will kill fluke and roundworm eggs, thus reducing pasture contamination.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration only using properly calibrated dosing equipment. Estimate bodyweight accurately before deciding the correct dosage.
Cattle

Withdrawals
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.
Cattle may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 14 days from the last treatment.
Sheep may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 5 days from the last treatment.
Milk for human consumption must not be taken during treatment.
Milk for human consumption may be taken from cows only after 60 hours from the last treatment.
Do not use in sheep producing milk for human consumption.

With the Farmacy business moving from West Sussex to Cheshire over the Christmas and New Year break, we will be closed from midday on Friday 22nd December. Nothing will then be dispatched from that date until 2nd January 2024.

Please note there is a small excess for despatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight as governed by your postcode.
- To keep our prices as low as possible, we do not hold stock of most products. We order stock from our wholesaler at 4.30 each day, so any orders received after this time will not be ordered until the following day.
- Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will not be dispatched until the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. This means that you should receive these items on a Tuesday by 12pm.
- We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.
- Standard and Priority costs apply to the UK mainland only.
- Delivery to Scottish Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight may incur an excess to cover additional carriage costs - this is dependent on your postcode. Full details can be found by clicking the link below.
- Customers who arrange to collect from Warnham should not arrive before 12pm.
- We are no longer able to ship to Northern Ireland due to extra administrative costs since January 2021. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.

Faulty Goods Returns
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
