50% funding available for suckler producers
AHDB Beef & Lamb is offering 50% funding, across England, for suckler producers with 30 or more breeding females to complete a DIY AI course.
Why use artificial insemination (AI)?
- Imrpove the genetics of your herd
- Use bulls with proven performance
- Tailor the breeding of your herd by selecting for maternal or terminal traits
- Speed up genetic progress of your breeding females with sexed semen
- Reduce the need ro keep as many bulls on farm
