The Westpoint Veterinary Cattle Mobility4Life Roadshow 2013

Westpoint Veterinary Group are running a series of Cattle Mobility4Life Roadshows from 11th - 15th March 2013 at 5 venues around the UK.

Taking place on 5 different farms across the UK, these FREE roadshows are open to all dairy farmers and their staff. The workshops will provide an opportunity to see real on-farm examples of how lameness can be managed, minimised and prevented and offer a chance to find out about some of the latest developments in foot health.

What will I take away from the Roadshow?

  • An understanding of the cost impact of lameness and how it can be reduced
  • An understanding of the treatment and control of infectious causes of lameness
  • An outline of how to assess and improve housing in relation to lameness
  • An understanding of the benefits of mobility scoring with a demonstration of how it is carried out
  • Information and how to get involved in the CattleMobilty4Life Project
