Exploring a dedicated farm training platform
FarmIQ is a new agricultural training provider that combines industry leading expertise with a convenient, user-led format.
Developing skills and knowledge is crucial for farmers to help you navigate the ever-changing industry, FarmIQ recognises that farmers learn in different ways, so circumstances demand different approaches. For this reason, online and face-to-face courses are planned to be available as part of the service.
Online courses are delivered via an easy to navigate web platform that is accessible on multiple devices. The wide range of online courses are designed to suit all farm types and species, led by vets, consultants, and specialists, addressing all areas of the farm business, from animal health and welfare to recruitment and environmental management.
Upon completion of all courses, certificates are provided for download, which can be used as evidence of training for farm assurance schemes for examples Red Tractor Assurance and Lion Training Passport.
Responsible Use of Medicines Course
Farm IQ has recently launched an updated vet led Responsible Use of Medicines online course which is Red Tractor approved. The course is self-directed with clear learning objectives and is produced with up-to-date industry knowledge and practices. This course is appropriate for both dairy and beef as well as sheep farmers.
Each section introduces key topics surrounding the use of medicines on farm, with additional downloadable learning and support tools available. Once you have completed the course and passed the quiz, you will be issued with a certificate which can be used to demonstrate completion and compliance with Red Tractor.
