How to BOOST your stock’s immunity to BRD
A little BOOST makes a big difference
With plans being put in place for calving, now is the time to think about giving your new calves a PRIME-BOOST to give them the best start in life, by delivering a vaccination programme with the respiratory vaccines from the Bovalto® Respi range.
Greater levels of immunity are established by administering a live followed by a killed form
of the same antigen, which provides synergistic enhancement of immunity to the target antigen1,2. A recent study found that when using a Bovalto® injectable vaccine after Bovalto® Intranasal, a more rapid immune response is induced3. This approach is also used in other species and human medicine and is called PRIME-BOOST1,2.
The study found that presenting the same antigens in different ways is at the heart of this response. The Bovalto® range is the only one available that uses identical RSV and PI3 components, in live and killed presentations, designed and developed with inspiration from the latest advances in human and animal medicine1,2.
Now is the perfect time to plan your herd’s Bovalto® Respi BOOST with your vet.
