National Youngstock Conference 2023
The second National Youngstock Conference will be held at Harper Adams University on Thursday July 20th, 2023. And it’s a date that should be firmly in the diaries of all producers and calf rearers looking to develop their knowledge and youngstock management skills.
The first conference in 2022 drew more than 250 producers and 100 delegates from industry, vet practices and the trade from all corners of the UK to hear leading dairy and beef professionals share a wealth of knowledge and expertise on calf and replacement-heifer rearing.
The packed one-day programme, which filled two lecture halls, delivered 16 technical presentations to a sell-out audience. The event also included 22 trade stands, which offered delegates the chance to network, catch up with conference speakers, and gather information from the trade about their latest products and services.

The National Youngstock Conference (NYC) will again be chaired by the event’s clinical director, vet Tim Potter, and will involve other leading industry professionals. Providing a forum for producers, vets, researchers and other professionals, the NYC aims to promote best practice and facilitate the exchange of ideas relevant to all stages of youngstock rearing.
The conference has been designed to cater for all levels of experience and knowledge, with a series of practical seminars, and speakers set to talk about the latest developments in cattle breeding, nutrition and health.
