Calf Housing for Health and Welfare Grant
The Calf Housing for Health and Welfare grant for building new, or upgrading existing, buildings for calf housing, opened for applications on the 7th September 2023.
Grants of between £15,000 and £500,000 are available to co-fund housing for dairy and beef calves up to 6 months of age. Successful projects will improve calf health and welfare, enhance environmental sustainability, and introduce innovation.
The grant is competitive, and applications will need to meet specific criteria to be successful. A vet consultation on the project and letter of confirmation must be completed and provided with the full application.
