European Antibiotic Awareness Day
Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest threats facing us today, so Antibiotic Guardian has been developed by Public Health England (PHE) in collaboration with Department of Health’s Expert Advisory Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infections (ARHAI); the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), the Devolved Administrations and professional bodies/ organisations towards the ‘One Health’ initiative.
Anyone can sign up and make a pledge, whether you are a vet, doctor, farmer or member of the general public.
Follow this link and choose one simple pledge about how you’ll make better use of antibiotics and help save this vital medicine from becoming obsolete.
