Dosage & Administration

For oral administration only. When mixed with a concentrate feed, the product was shown to be palatable to horses.

The dosage should be adjusted according to the individual animal’s response, but the following may be taken as a guide:

Horses: 450 kg (1000 lb) body weight: the contents of two sachets to be administered twice on day 1 of treatment (equivalent to 8.8 mg/kg/day) followed by the contents of one sachet twice daily for four days (4.4 mg/kg/day), then one sachet daily, or on alternate days, sufficient to keep the horse comfortable (2.2 mg/kg/day).

Ponies: 225 kg (500 lb) body weight, one sachet (4.4 mg/kg) on alternate days.

Discontinue treatment if no response is evident after four to five days treatment.

For ease of administration mix the powder with a small quantity of feed.

Dampening of the veterinary medicinal product in feed 5 minutes prior to feeding has been shown to have no detrimental influence on the palatability of the product. However, the influence of prolonged dampening on palatability or stability of the product is not known.

Withdrawals

Not to be used in horses intended for human consumption. Treated horses may never be slaughtered for human consumption.

The horse must have been declared as not intended for human consumption under national horse passport legislation.

Delivery to United Kingdom only

Please note there is a small excess of £7.50 for dispatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight and £12 to Guernsey and Jersey as governed by your postcode.

1. We are unable to ship to Northern Ireland. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Orders are typically dispatched the day after they are received. For example, orders placed on Monday, will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders received on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday subject to stock availability.
3. Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. 
4. We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.
5. Standard and Priority costs apply to the UK mainland only. Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight may incur an excess to cover additional carriage costs as governed by your postcode. Full details can be found by clicking the link below.
6. Standard Delivery (non-refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 6pm
7. Priority Delivery (refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 12pm.

Faulty Goods Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
