Digestive support for ruminants.

Rumen Support is a nutritional supplement specifically developed and formulated to:

  • Stimulate microbial activity in the rumen
  • Stimulate metabolism and appetite
  • Stabilise rumen pH
  • Boost recovery

Rumen Support is formulated from a high concentration of 

  • Yeast
  • Rumen protected Methionine
  • Vitamins (A, B, D3, E)
  • Trace Elements

Use Rumen Support:

  • To support appetite and recovery in calves,replacemens or beef animals after illness or veterinary treatment
  • To support appetite in cows receiving veterinary treatment (for example, cows on antibiotics, anti-inflammatories) or cows post-surgery (caesarian or displaced abomasum)
  • To support appetite in cows suffering transition acidosis
  • To support cows with Mastitis or Metritis
  • Cows suffering from heat stress
  • To high risk cows: fat cows, older cows, cows with previous history
  • As soon as possible after calving to stimulate appetite and reduce the risk of ketosis

To be mixed with feed

Post calving: Feed 2 scoops (100g) immediately after calving to support recovery and appetitie and to reduce risk of metabolic disease.

After Surgery: Dairy Cows and Large Cattle 500kg+) Feed 4 sccops (200g) twice daily for 2 days, followed by 2 scoops (100g) twice daily for 2 days.

Loss of appetite: Feed 2 scoops (100g) twice daily for the first day, followed by 2 scoops (100g) daily until appetite recovers.

Post veterinary treatment: (for example antibiotic or anti-imflammatory) Feed 2 scoops (100g) twice daily for the first day, followed by 2 scoops (100g) daily until appetite recovers.

Growing cattle: Use as directed above, but use:

  • 1/2 scoop per 100kg bodyweight where 2 scoops indicated
  • 1 scoop per 100kg bodyweight where 4 scoops are indicated

Please note there is a small excess for despatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight as governed by your postcode.

1. To keep our prices as low as possible, we do not hold stock of most products. We order stock from our wholesaler at 4.30 each day, so any orders received after this time will not be ordered until the following day. 

2. Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will not be dispatched until the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. This means that you should receive these items on a Tuesday by 10am.

3. We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.

4. Standard and Priority costs apply to the UK mainland only.
Delivery to Scottish Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight may incur an excess to cover additional carriage costs - this is dependent on your postcode. Full details can be found by clicking the link below.

5. Customers who arrange to collect from Warnham should not arrive before 12pm.

Faulty Goods Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.

We are unable to offer refunds on the following products.

  • Animal medicines - general & vaccines
  • Refrigerated/temperature sensitive products
