KETOFEN® 10% - new claim for lameness

Merial Animal Health has received approval for the addition of an indication for reducing pain associated with lameness in cattle for its KETOFEN® 10% Solution for Injection. KETOFEN® 10% is of particular benefit when treating dairy cows as it has a zero milk withhold.

We are pleased to be able to add the treatment of pain associated with lameness to the list of indications."

KETOFEN® 10% is licensed for both intramuscular and intravenous administration, and works rapidly reaching peak plasma levels within 40 minutes following intramuscular administration4.
