Dosage & Administration

For oral administration.

• The recommended therapeutic dose is 20 mg chlortetracycline per kg bodyweight (equivalent to 20 grams of Chloromed 150 mg/g Oral Powder per 150 kg bodyweight) per day administered for seven days. This should be given in a divided daily dose i.e. 10mg morning and 10mg evening.
• The product should be administered to small quantities of feed for immediate consumption by individual animals. Larger groups should be treated with medicated feeding stuff.
• The product should be mixed thoroughly into a part of the daily feed ration and should be administered prior to the feeding. It should be ensured that the calculated dose is completely taken up by the animals.
• If animals don't recover within 3 days after oral medication, diagnosis should be reconsidered and treatment should be changed, if necessary.
• To ensure the correct dosage and to avoid possible under-dosing, the bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible.

Withdrawals

Calves:

Meat and offal: 10 days.

Milk: The product is contraindicated for use in adult ruminants and dairy cows and should therefore not be used in animals producing milk for human consumption.

Please note there is a small excess of £7.50 for dispatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight and £12 to Guernsey and Jersey as governed by your postcode.

1. We are unable to ship to Northern Ireland. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Orders are typically dispatched the day after they are received. For example, orders placed on Monday, will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders received on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday subject to stock availability.
3. Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. 
4. We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.

6. Standard Delivery (non-refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 6pm
7. Priority Delivery (refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 12pm.

Faulty Goods Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
