Feed supplement for horses to support bone metabolism and density.
Bone Protect supports the metabolic regulation of calcium and phosphate and encourages bone calcification. The contained calcium pidolate is a protein bound calcium with a high bio-availability. Vitamins K and D additionally support the binding process of calcium.
The stimulation of bone metabolism by vitamin K and D, for example by supplementing with highly available calcium, can be extremely useful in certain situations. The organic and biologically available sulphur promotes cartilage building, as well as regeneration of tendons and connective tissue.
Dosage & Administration
600 kg body weight: 40 - 60 g daily, spread over two meals.
Prophylaxis (winter months)
- Large horse (600kg): 40 g/day (min. 2 months range)
- Foals / yearlings: 20-30 g
Treatment (cystoid suspicion or poor bone density)
- Foals / yearlings: 30-40 g
- Large horse (600kg): 60 g
One spoon contains 25g.

- Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions.
- We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.

Faulty Goods Returns
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
