Dosage & Administration

Cattle

• 2.2 mg flunixin per kg bodyweight (equivalent to 2 ml of product per 45 kg BW) administered intravenously.
• Repeat as necessary at 24 hour intervals for up to 5 consecutive days.

Horses

• By intravenous injection for musculo-skeletal disorders at the following rate: 1.1 mg flunixin per kg bodyweight (equivalent to 1 ml of product per 45 kg BW) once daily for up to 5 days according to clinical response.
• By intravenous injection for colic at the following rate: 1.1 mg flunixin per kg bodyweight (equivalent to 1 ml of product per 45 kg BW) repeated once or twice if colic recurs.
• For the treatment of endotoxaemia or septic shock associated with gastric torsion and with other conditions in which the circulation of blood to the gastro-intestinal tract is compromised: 0.25 mg/kg every 6-8 hours, by intravenous injection.

Pigs

• 2.2 mg flunixin per kg bodyweight (equivalent to 2 ml of product per 45 kg BW) once by intramuscular injection, in the neck, in conjunction with appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
• The injection volume should be limited to a maximum of 5 ml per injection site.
• An appropriately graduated syringe must be used to allow accurate administration of the required dose volume. This is particularly important when injecting small volumes.
• When intramuscular injection is used, the dose should be divided between two injection sites on either side of the neck.

Cattle

• Meat and offal: 5 days
• Milk: 24 hours

Horses

• Meat and offal: 7 days

Pigs

• Meat and offal: 22 days

Delivery to United Kingdom only

Please note there is a small excess of £7.50 for dispatch to Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight and £12 to Guernsey and Jersey as governed by your postcode.

1. We are unable to ship to Northern Ireland. Any orders placed online will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Orders are typically dispatched the day after they are received. For example, orders placed on Monday, will be dispatched on Tuesday. Orders received on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday subject to stock availability.
3. Orders placed on a Thursday or Friday that have refrigerated items included will be dispatched on Sunday for delivery before 12pm on the following Monday to ensure that the items are delivered to you under controlled conditions. 
4. We do not offer a Saturday or Sunday delivery service.
5. Standard and Priority costs apply to the UK mainland only. Highlands and Islands and Isle of Wight may incur an excess to cover additional carriage costs as governed by your postcode. Full details can be found by clicking the link below.
6. Standard Delivery (non-refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 6pm
7. Priority Delivery (refrigerated products) guarantees delivery by 12pm.

Faulty Goods Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01306 628215 within 72 hours of receipt of your goods. Please have your order reference to hand. You will be asked to provide evidence of the damaged goods if damaged in transit.
